Noticed that a few things have changed?
The scope of the Catchment Modelling Toolkit has changed and with this has come
a new look and new functionality. The Toolkit's subject matter now extends to many
different areas of water management and it is no longer simply a place to download
catchment modelling tools. Rather, users will now be able to search our knowledge
base for resources such as publications, web links and data sets, participate in
discussion forums and utilise online tools, as well as being able to access all
of the functionality of the previous site (e.g. training, events and tool alerts
and information).
Getting around the Toolkit
Brief descriptions of the major sections of the Toolkit website are given below:
Themes
The Themes section provides a way for users to identify tools
and resources according to particular water management disciplines, such as urban
water and catchment modelling. Each theme has it's own dedicated area on the site,
where you can:
- search for multiple resource types related to that theme
- participate in discussion forums for sharing ideas on water management issues
- find geographically relevant resources via map searches
- access tools related to your theme of interest
- utilise online tools
You can access the theme areas via the drop down menu at the top of the page.

number of ways to obtain support for each tool:
- Documentation such as user guides and manuals can be accessed from
the Documentation page as well as on each tool's home page.
- Discussion forums are available so that allow you to post public
threads regarding anything to do with tools or the Toolkit website itself.
