Transfer ownership bug fix version.
River manager Internal Release 1.3.32
===== Major Features: =====
Maximum Order Constraints:
Constrain maximum regulated volume of water and share this amount between owners.
Minimum Order Constraints:
Specify a minimum regulated volume of water at a point in the network. Describes who should own the minimum
volume specified
Splitter:
Functions can be described that relate inflow to two downstream links. Describes how owned water
is to move down each branch.
Extraction Point:
Extraction points can be described that extract water for a time series of demand
that is linked to the to the extraction point.
Expression Editor:
At selected places values can be calculated using expressions.
These expressions can include:
* References to variables from a large number of places in the system
* Mathmatical operators
* Logical operators
Currently expressions can be used to calculate splitter flow, or a minimum constraint rate volume.
The current expression system will be used in future releases as an option to calculate a wider variety of values.
Transfer Ownership:
Owned but unregulated inflow can be redistributed to other owners.
Losses:
Function can be described that relate inflow to loss at a point in the network. Owned water
shares this loss according in proportion to the volumes of water for each water flowing at this point in the
network or based on an input table of proportions for each owner.
Unregulated River Gains:
At a confluence a recession curve can be described that predicts inflow and can supply
downstream orders from this inflow (depending on inflow ownership).
Memory Management:
For large scenarios or multiple runs memory is better managed reducing the risk of
an out of memory error
===== Known bugs: =====
Units Preferences from the Tools drop-down menu, then just changed metres to millimetres - Geoff
Max constraint node percentages are not validated (can be more than 100%)
Splitter percentages are not validated (can be more than 100%)
Wendy/File used to simulate recessions is not persisted
Files forget name when they are imported
Time series of demands graph looks dodgy - title + legend
Can't scroll the schematic view across to see the writing to the right of the icons on the far
right (unless I put a dummy icon out there)
In the stats tab on the graphs there is no indication of what the units are. Can we have them shown.
It's not saving the screen layout when you shut it and reopen it. It is defaulting to what would be there
when you opened it the 1st time.
Splitter Table. There are values come up when you open it before you have entered anything. 0, 0 & 1, 0.5.
The second set of numbers shouldn't be there.
Date ranges month values should be entered as numbers not abbrevations (jan feb)
Minimum Flow constraints can should be able to be considered to be supplied by inflow to a storage
in some cases (St George system)
Append file name to end of project name in project explorer
For the transfer of ownership node we need to record the transfers made
Generally there is no validation of values on various forms for example some things can be entered to
add to more than 100%
On export (of splitter) values that appear as a precision of a couple of decimal points like 0.5 they get
written as numbers close to the value but with double imprecision and lots of decimal points. Apparently
manually editing the values and setting them to what they appear to be fixes this problem so it could be
that the actual value in the tables are not as they appear (ie rounding errors are in table)
