Caution Notes For User

Detailed data limitations are described in the documentation (see Documnetation link below left). The key limitations relate to: - the broad scale (1:2 million) of the underlying mapping; - uncertainties in the area of each soil type within a soil landscape; and - uncertainties related to the estimation of properties for each soil type. It should be noted that this data set will gradually be superceded by the Australian Soil Resources Information System, which will be progressively released with a planned completion date of 2006.
