Overview
Purpose
TMAS (Terrain Manipulation and Analysis System) is an integrated toolkit of terrain analysis routines
Target user group
TMAS the terrain engine is suitable for any user working with terrain data that has a requirement to calculate flow direction, define subcatchments, determine primary topographic attributes etc.
Complexity
TMAS is inituitive and doesn't enforce complex workflows. It allows multiple common gui techniques (eg dragging clicking etc) to be employed in flexible permutations to activate program functionality.
Example applications
TMAS could be used to determine flow direction on a raw DEM. The output could then be used to calculate upslope area.
Overview of features, advantage and benefits
Managed Data: Users can perform multiple operations without having to save outputs immediately on completition of an operation. The Data Manager associated input and output data and allows users to navigate through a "history" of data processing
