Changes in EMSS 1.4.1

• Rainfall Collation
• Fixed 5-10km shift (see Reprojection note, below)
• Sped up from V1.3.4. A diagnostic process was added in 1.3.4 to track the shift error. This process has been both sped up and switched off
• Reprojection Components
• Tarsier incorrectly assumed Australian National Spheroid (ANS) in southern hemisphere
• Cooefficient for eccentricity for ANS was out by a factor of 2, giving shifts between 5 and 15 km
• Router / Secant Solver
• Improved the convergence for large flows by changing the starting points for the solver
• Scenario Generator
• Increased the diagnostic level, so that failures can be more quickly located
• Fixed bug where generating the scenario twice failed

This is a minor update intended to fix the terrain analysis problems experienced by several users

Bugs Fixed

• Fixed upslope area bug where the calculation failled to compute upslope area across areas of 'zero' elevation. If your DEM contains valid zero cells, clear the 'ignore zeroes' box on the upslope area page.
• Fixed the stream delineation bug where the software failled to find any confluences.
• Fixed a bug in riparian treatments where scenarios containing riparian applications did not reload correctly after a save.

• Dams now support extractions using 12 monthly average values. Add a file with damname.ext to the StorageData directory during a build.

• Missing observer flow data is now left blank, rather than plotting as a -9999 value.
• Subcatchment selection failed when very small subcatchments were present
• Cannot select bottom catchments/nodes when inspecting data (cannot scroll to bottom)
• EMSS crashes on load when the towns shape file contains polygons rather than sites (expected).
