Source Catchments Scientific Reference Guide
The Scientific Reference Guide is a technical document that provides the scientific content to support the analysis methods and component models within Source Catchments. The information in this guide provides information on:
• How nodes, links, constituent generation, filtering and rainfall–runoff models work;
• Descriptions of relevant scientific theory including equations and assumptions; and
• Guidance on component model application to assist users to make informed decisions.
Physical processes modelled in Source Catchments are rainfall–runoff, constituent generation, filters, routing and in-stream processes in links and nodes.
